Called In A New Direction
For 12 years, we raised our hands in prayer, praise and song at our Christian music festival that lifted up thousands of people from around the region.
Now, God has called us in a new direction, one that asks us to gather, lower our arms and extend our hands to welcome one another and share items that will benefit our neighbors.

GUEST SPEAKER
Lanning Guides Provisional International Ministry
Lance Lanning is president of Provision International, a worldwide Christian ministry of outreach based in Billings. The organization works to meet the needs of the less fortunate and is committed to networking resources to serve people in areas of great need. He will speak at 7 p.m.
Provision International relies on volunteers to help the organization fulfill its mission. It was established in 2001 after Dick Larson and his wife, Anita, returned to Montana from a short-term mission to Eastern Europe, where they saw firsthand the hardships faced by the people there.
Lanning, who grew up in Havre, joined the organization in 2004 and become president in 2011 when the Larsons decided to step down. He met his wife, Miska, during mission trip to Slovakia in 2004.
Lanning, a star athlete at Havre High School, was named the Gatorade Circle of Champions Montana High School Football Player of the Year in 1993. Highly recruited to play college football, he became disillusioned with sports and fell into bad habits.
He turned his life around with help from a campus ministry at the University of Montana Western in Dillon. After college, Lanning frequently spoke at high schools, cautioning students about the dangers of bullying and drug abuse. Meanwhile, Larson had become familiar with Lanning’s work, and asked him to join Provision International.

For years, Cleveland performed with his acclaimed independent secular band and and then led worship at Tulsa’s Asbury United Methodist Church – one of America’s largest congregations. Cleveland found success in the Christian format with his self-titled debut album. He has had three Top 5 hits and a No. 1 radio ranking with “You Are Loved.”
